I decided to post the weekend colour cartoons together with today's daily for your viewing pleasure.
The fire evacuation cartoon shows what happens when one tries to draw these things when there are a stream of distractions like endless phone calls, people wanting stuff etc... I forgot to add the fire marshal's stubble and only noticed it this morning. There much to be said for unplugging and turning off phones :-)

We had to write and draw today's cartoon on Friday morning with no idea of what the outcome would be -- as the newspapers prepare the pages where M&E appears on Friday already. We never really had any doubts the Boks would take the Cup, but hey, with this World Cup you just couldn't tell... and we weren't going to be the ones jinxing it. Luckily Steve came up with an idea for a cartoon strip that would work... win or lose.
